Nashville Tennessee

I took a weekend trip to Nashville in the beginning of October with a friend from my time working at Disney World. I’ve been to Nashville before so I knew I’d enjoy it. This is a summary of my mini vaca with lots of photos!

First night there we went to eat dinner at George Jones. They had live music and some great nachos. We walked Broadway Street after which was packed with so many people. But to be fair, Broadway is full of live music in every bar. I could have spent every night there.

The next morning we ate brunch at Earnest Bar & Hideaway, a very cute little restaurant. The only downside was that is was very loud in there.

We split the Hot Chicken and Mac, and it really means hot! I ate the Korean Fried Chicken Sandwich for my entree which was pretty good, nothing to brag about.

We ate dinner at Restoration Hardware, placed inside a furniture store, the bougiest place I’ve ever eaten at. The ceiling is all glass so I wish we went at lunch to see the place all lit up from sunlight. Still a very photogenic place.

For our appetizer we ate the Delice de Bourgogne Cheese, highly recommend. I ate the Shaved Ribeye on Charred Garlic Bread for my entree, also a good choice.

My absolute favorite part of the trip was the Assembly Food Hall, filled with so many options. I ended up going twice to eat and chill as they have some live music throughout the day.

I ate the Garlic Vegetables with Rice and Thai Esane which was delicious. Then had three custom made donuts from Donut Distillery which was my favorite thing to eat the whole trip! I ended up getting a dozen to take back home with me, and yes they allow it on the plane.

I want back to the Assembly Food Hall the next day and ate at Prince’s Hot Chicken. I tried their Mac & Cheese and the Andre Chicken Sandwich with mild sauce. This mild sauce is still VERY hot in my opinion.

I cooled down my tongue (which was on fire from the chicken sandwich) with a snow cone/ice cream from Cotton & Snow. The item I ordered was named after the shop. This cotton candy flavored snow cone topped with fresh cotton candy was massive! Hard to eat it all by myself before it melted.

I walked through the Bicentennial Capital Mall State Park to get to the Farmers’ Market. This also I a great place to eat and has tons of options. The garden section was my favorite part of the market. Right next to the Farmers’ Market is the Tennessee State Museum which I’m really bummed was closed that day for Columbus Day.

I have a feeling I will be back several times to Nashville for weekend getaways.
